From 1 January to 13 February, guests are invited to enjoy our Beau Nash Tea for £26.00 per person, with no booking required. Designed for spontaneous visits, this winter offer brings together comforting flavours, historic surroundings and the ease of dropping in as the mood takes you.

The experience begins with your choice of starter, followed by freshly baked plain and fruit scones, served with West Country clotted cream and strawberry jam. Your tea is accompanied by a pot of tea or hand-roasted fairtrade filter coffee, enjoyed beneath the chandeliers of the Pump Room.

• Wing of St Mawes smoked salmon, pickled cucumber and horseradish
• Salt-baked Bromham heritage beetroots with goat’s curd and toasted hazelnuts (v)
• Ham hock terrine with soft poached egg, English mustard and capers
